COUNSELORS
About Our Counselors
All Box Elder Middle School counselors are licensed by the Utah State Office of Education, and we meet all accreditation standards required by the Utah State Office of Education and the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. We follow state and national student outcomes, standards, and competencies for School Counseling and Guidance Programs, and we are active members of the Utah School Counselor’s Association and the American School Counselor’s Association.
Contacting Us
BEMS counselors are available both by appointment and walk-ins. To reach any of our counselors or staff, call the Counseling Office at (435) 734-4884, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We encourage students to make appointments in the counseling center, but students may come in on a walk-in basis if in crisis, during breaks, or when referred by a school staff member. If you need services that we cannot provide, we will find someone who can help you.
Students are assigned to counselors by the first letter of their last name.

Amber Clark
A-C students
Amber Clark is a half-day counselor over the last names that start with A-C and is in the Counseling Office in the mornings from 7:40-11:10. Amber teaches Language Arts in the afternoon from 11:45-2:40 M-F. If you need to talk to a counselor during the afternoon, please contact one of the other counselors.
